What is The HK HUB?

The HK HUB is the first place you go to find out what’s happening in Hong Kong.

We’ve uncovered all that Hong Kong has to offer, so you can experience it to the fullest. We’ve been all over Hong Kong to find you the latest adventures it has to offer. From hiking the high trails in the New Territories to the best eats in Central, we open the door to Hong Kong, ready for you to explore.

Our Team

Killian KOSTIHA — Owner

After several experiences living out of France, Killian started his journey in Hong Kong in 2014. Killian owns and runs The HK HUB, and he loves the diversity of life that Hong Kong offers, from culture and traditions to modern city life, and nature, which is always just a step away from skyscrapers with all the hiking trails, beaches, and outdoor activities. You can contact him at killian@thehkhub.com.

Danielle LAM — Content Editor

Danielle is deep diving into the things that make Hong Kong a city of intermingling identities, and bridging the information gap as someone trying to navigate the city herself as a cultural inbetweener. Sometimes this means analyzing culture and local people’s stories, and other times it means drinking all the milk tea and doing walking explorations of peripheral districts.

Our Authors

Angela CHONG

Angela studied Culinary Art & Food Service Management and had lived in the United States for several years. She has travelled to numerous countries and experienced their unique cultures of food and life. Having grown up with a passion for food she seeks to try any speciality food wherever she goes. Agnes WONG

A hermit at heart, Agnes likes to connect with the world across various platforms that share a wealth of content on beauty, culture, lifestyle, and travel. She loves using the art of language to portray her voice and poor sense of humour whenever possible. When she’s not nerding around or head deep into a piece, you’re sure to find her spending time outdoors with friends and family or going down the Pinterest rabbit hole to find all sorts of inspiration she can!

Anjali MUTHANNA

From the Middle East to the Far East and a couple of places in between, Anjali has lived in no fewer than seven cities in Asia, and has travelled extensively in the region. She worked as a lifestyle journalist in India before coming to Hong Kong, where her favourite thing to do is island-hopping with her daughter. You can check out her musings on motherhood, courtesy her Instagram profile.

Heather NG

Heather is a freelance writer, fitness junkie and avid foodie. Having spent the better part of her life in the 852, Malaysian-born Heather has spent the last 6 years wandering around Hong Kong trying to uncover the city’s best kept hidden gems. When not writing, you’ll likely find her documenting her latest food adventures on Instagram, finding new ways to burn calories, or binge-watching Netflix shows.

Kopal MANGLIK

Born in New Delhi, brought up in Hong Kong, and having lived in New York, city life is in Kopal’s blood. You can find her exploring her beloved city. Whether it’s the latest sustainable fashion store, or the cutest new coffee shop, she loves finding the hidden secrets of Hong Kong. In her free time, Kopal is a active advocate for animal welfare and adoption, and she runs a Facebook and Instagram page, @adoptdontshop.hk.
